The Acts, the Chronicles: Reflections on the Ways and Means

Some major personal milestones have already been introduced in this chronicling; salvation, apostolic anointing, the revelation of the celestial sign of the Lord's return in judgment in 1991 and the later insight into the missing link that establishes this current Shemitah cycle as the one appointed for a radical transition of the age. What the Lord has done and continues to do in bringing alongside me a partner into this work is of huge significance, and, really, it represents another major milestone in the work. I met Aaron Hermann in late 2010 through a very interesting interaction with a popular online ministry. We expect that more attention will be given to that in the near future.

Once the celestial sign was revealed as a fulfillment of Jacob's deathbed prophecy to his son Judah (Genesis 49:10), in the course of intensely seeking to understand what it meant, the Lord began to correct my thinking about many things. He was granting insight into such things that I'd never even sought to know. One of the notable incidentals was the paternity of Cain. Because the Lord had by that time already dealt with my faith theology, He was confirming what He had taught me about the key to developing a hearing ear, about duty and what it was to go beyond duty in a right way, and the fruit of that endeavor. He was demonstrating by an outpouring of secrets how access to His treasure chest is granted to the trustworthy, whom He qualifies according to His good pleasure. Character issues were substantially dealt with in the process as a requirement, and in that, light was shined on what was profoundly both personal and impersonal. It was a weaving of a three-fold cord that was faith, hope and love. On that foundation, He dealt with me on a central theme of the chronology of the end times. That was very apparently a thread used to unravel a complex fabric. Knowledge about the timing of certain key events exposes the relationship between the events, and that in turn exposes detail about the characters and dynamics involved. An adventure began that continues to unfold in this late hour in no less spectacular fashion than it had at the start!

The foundation that had been built, by 1991's life changing discovery, was sufficient to get me started on this new journey, but there was a lot of work to be done - and undone. Unlearning is not as easy as it might seem. I know that will resonate with many of you. I discovered that some of what I thought I knew actually was sound. I have had to continually test and retest my assumptions. The Lord is a masterful mentor. He had given me enough of a foundation, and there was nothing that couldn't be corrected and made sound in this grand reconstruction project. I can now reflect back upon how I have had the enormous benefit of many years of laboring in The Master's development program. How much mercy and favor has been shown to me in this will some day be known. It is beyond my ability to grasp the scope and scale of it. How much further there is to go is something I can only put into a time perspective. He's almost done because time is almost up.

Even though the Lord was very early on opening to me the chronology of the end, with dates anchored to the calendar, I had quite a struggle reconciling that matter because I had been schooled in the secret rapture doctrine, that no one would or could know when the Lord was coming. I couldn't effectively resolve the obvious conflict until revelation insight into Matthew 24:36 came many years later. I admit to being more than a little obtuse. With that said, I also know very well how the Lord Himself hides things and reveals them in due season. Like with the peeling of an onion, layers of opening revelation are often exposed in a controlled sequence.

I was a long time in coming to some very fundamental issues with my character, too. The Lord is merciful and patient. Even now, the Lord's attentiveness to refining Aaron and myself continues, and this has to be the most potent witness to the lateness of the hour.

My thinking about apostles and prophets has certainly been made real. The anointing does not make one perfect, but it is a provision made for the perfecting of the saints. Pastors and teachers are not perfect, neither are those with a gift ministry of evangelism, nor prophets or apostles. In these last days, the church will be made glorious, according to the declaration made by Henry Gruver, an agent of securing the release of the anointing for this closing season's work. The Bridegroom will have a spotless Bride! It won't come through men and women who are without fault, but without blame.

Speaking also to the finality of the season, we continue to see the Lord closing loops, fulfilling promises and emphatically signaling the fulfillment of other promises.

Aaron and I just recorded a rather impromptu conversation about the qualification of the Bride and published it to the blog. The Two-fold Bride Qualification is related to the parallel working I wrote about above. I first observed the dynamic of the love-knowledge pairing on a personal level, as the Lord worked a curriculum to prepare me. It was apparent that this is His way of preparing a worthy Bride for Himself. A few days ago, the Lord prompted Aaron and I to review some passages of scripture together, and what was highlighted I recognize as a closing of a loop. I can't say how much of this I had seen before, but what we saw in Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2 and most plainly in 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 spoke so loudly to us! In 1 Thessalonians, there were two things that those saints did not need to be written to about. The first being, the love of the brethren, and the second, times and the epochs.

4:9 Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you,
for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;
5:1 Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you.
2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.

The saints were taught by God to love one another. We're not told how they came to learn about the times and epochs, but they knew full well about the day of the Lord coming just like a thief in the night. They knew that this represented salvation itself, in a day of separation when those who didn't know full well would suddenly meet with destruction. Was this just for them, then? That season that is now in the distant past was not when the Lord would come just like a thief in the night. The message is for us, dear friends, upon whom the end of the age has now come. How are we to come to learn about times and epochs, to have such confidence that we know full well? How indeed. Has our hope been compromised by the loss of some record, some lost Pauline book? Are there no more apostles, or have they truly been restored, to carry on the work to completion?

Well, those are some good questions.

You have to give serious consideration to whether I'm just another clever pitch man trying to sell you a version of things, manipulating, manning a net, running a filter, appointed to screen you out of inclusion in the Bride company. Most are, you should know. Yet, the Lord will have a worthy Bride. You yourself will not be able to excuse yourself, should you fail to be found worthy in the day of accounting. You will not be able to point at me and claim that I deceived you, or someone else deceived you, and get a waiver for failing to make the grade. You will be judged on your own merit, according to the judgment of the one who invented fairness. Aaron and I will give account of our words and deeds. If our concern is, by persuasive language or such works as this chronicling, to make our own case more convincing, more compelling than the next guys, or if we are inventing ploys to disarm you and steer you toward failure, we will be dealt with most severely. Unto whom much is given, much is demanded - and we are utterly convinced that we have been given much.

One of the things that speaks loudly to us about the lateness of the hour is another kind of closing loop. One of the systems of validation for the celestial sign of 1991 involves the Psalms. Popularized by the late J.R. Church, what he called the Hidden prophecies of the Psalms demonstrated a correlation between the numbering of the Psalms and the calendar. Very simply, Psalm 48 represented the year 1948, the next Psalm, 1949, and so on. Although this was not completely obvious and there is surely more to the matter, it is a valid pattern. I made a considerable effort to document what I perceived in Psalm 91 about 1991 and the Gulf war, and about the celestial sign. In that early season, I spent what seemed like endless hours scouring the Psalms in search of seven Psalm spans that I anticipated would lead me to identify the seven year span of Daniel's seventieth week. That was not the road to discovery. However, after having come to learn that a Shemitah began in 1991 and that the one of note began in 2012, I can identify Psalm 115 as the one that conceals and reveals something about this year appointed for two key harvests, of the barley (Pesah) and wheat (Shavuot). Here are the closing verses.

16 The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, But the earth He has given to the sons of men. 17 The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor do any who go down into silence; 18 But as for us, we will bless the Lord From this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord! ~ Psalm 115:16-18

Echo that! Praise the Lord! The “we” who “will bless the Lord from this time forth and forever” are the former dead! Are you rejoicing with us in this? We, as you, are operating here and now on the basis of faith, and hope.

24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it. ~ Romans 8:24-25

Our report is that we are passing on to you what we ourselves are receiving. With the Lord as our witness.

Have you considered all the historical evidence Tom Horn has researched and presented in recent years, demonstrating how many saints over the years, and, too, the spiritual leaders of other cultures, have pointed to the season of 2012-2016 as one of fulfillment. They are not wrong.

Today, in the place where Aaron and I have now been brought, we see so vividly a testimony of the Lord's love that far exceeds our ability to convey by other means than to quote scripture. He does occasionally give us ways of personal expression of the insight, and we rejoice together in these revelations. We have recently been repeating the insight that there will be a continual deepening and opening of the revelation of our Lord's love for ages to come, and this is being emphasized to us in our experience. We are profoundly touched and changed, and we can only bear witness that it is an expression of the sovereign Lord's working according to His good pleasure!

  3. It sounds like Jesus is getting ready to make Shiloh, and the man child of Revelation 12, known to the world.
